This Final Friday, Wonder Fair will hold a reception for seven quilts by Atlanta-based artist Dawn Williams Boyd. Boyd's large-scale quits, or "cloth paintings," explore themes of race and racism, history, and personal identity through unique compositions that break from the traditional rectangular quilt.
Join us on August 25th to ponder Boyd's thoughtful and thought-provoking cloth paintings in the Wonder Fair gallery. As always, we will offer a smattering of drinks and a cornucopia of conversation.
